KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF AUGUST 12, 2024
FMC PRAYER: Lord, this week we lift up our senior members at FMC and ask that Your Spirit move mightily within their hearts, souls, minds, and strength this week. May they continue to seek Your wisdom and reflect Your joy as they patiently interact and instruct those they encounter. We thank You for the wisdom and knowledge they’ve attained through Your revelation and humbly ask for ears to hear Your Truth through the stories we hear about Your faithfulness. May we never live in the past but always be looking forward to Your Kingdom’s reign in our lives until we see You face-to-face.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Joshua 6 ~ Fall of Jericho
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…praise and prayer erupt…
Father, You hear our words.
You love our praise.
You have made a way for us to be with You forever.
How do we do anything but praise and thank You for those things!
May our hearts be continually humbled when we forget Your goodness and Your faithfulness.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Help us to embrace our diversity as a reflection of Your creativity and to work together harmoniously, for the advancement of Your Kingdom. Lord You have given us each different gifts and talents – gently remind us of Your design for the Church when we start to think that our way is the only way.
May we be instruments of reconciliation, constantly sowing seeds of peace and building bridges of understanding.
STUDENTS: Father, grant our students the wisdom needed to handle challenging situations with grace and the courage to stand firm in their faith while being respectful and understanding of others’ beliefs. Help them to approach their peers with kindness and empathy, making their actions a reflection of Your character.
SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
CARE: We pray for those who are facing difficulties, whether due to illness, financial hardship, or personal struggles. Surround them with Your peace and provide them with the support and resources they need. May they feel Your presence and know that they are not alone.
