KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 11, 2023
FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up our need for protection. Protect and deliver us from the evil one. Help us be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves as we deal with the wolves around us. Show us how to test every spirit to see if they are from You. Help us recognize the enemy’s disguises and schemes so that he won’t outwit us.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 1:9-10
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond… the Holy Spirit’s fruit ripens in believers’ lives…we want to be effective for Your kingdom Lord, constantly growing into mature and fruitful disciples. Awaken our senses to be attune to Your Spirit so that we are able to see Your plans revealed throughout our lives – and repent when our sinful nature is revealed. May generations be blessed because of our obedience and Your eternal faithfulness.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, help me worship you with an undistracted heart. Heavenly Father, this day, and every day – is all about you. Help me worship you with an undistracted heart. You know how my mind wanders to my upcoming week, present worries, and thoughts of others and other things. Help me throw those worries aside and focus on You and Your glory. May Your Spirit cause my heart, soul, mind, and strength to exalt Your Holy Name in my singing, listening to Your Word, and interacting with others today and every day hereafter.
STUDENTS: FAITH + TRUST: Father, help our students to grow in faith and trust. Help them to understand what it means to walk by faith, not by sight – especially with all the crazy things that are going on around them. We know they will grow in faith by hearing your Word, and so we pray for opportunities to share Your Word with them.
SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight…”
Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
