KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 4, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up our pastor to You. Thank You for his servant’s heart. Keep him from losing heart when ministry gets tough. Help him prove faithful with the things you have entrusted to him. Teach him Your ways so that he knows You and finds favor with You as He leads us. Keep him open and honest before You and help him to represent the truth plainly.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 1:6-8

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…intimacy with Jesus is treasured…the Savior of the world, humbly submitted, fully surrendered – for those who would reject and scorn Him. Thank you for Your sacrifice Lord and the hope of salvation for all of those who put their faith in You. Remind us what a blessing it is to know You, Jesus. Help us to honor You in the same way that John did – bearing witness to the Light so that Your Name may increase more and more and more. It’s nothing that we do – but everything that YOU do.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, equip us for our mission on this earth. As we have learned over this past year, we are not saved by our good works, but for good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Focus our hearts on the mission You have for us – to share the gospel and make disciples of Christ Jesus. Remind us how our marriages, family lives, work, and hobbies can be avenues to adorn the gospel through our proclamation and Christ-exalting lifestyles. Use our time as Your gathered body to build us up and send us out for ministering Your gospel, in the power of Your Spirit, to this broken world.

STUDENTS: Lord, wherever our students interact with their peers, we pray that You would protect them from any illness and its effects. Father, our bodies are good gifts, wonderfully made, and we pray that You would guard their health, for their protection and the protection of those around them.

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 139:14
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
