KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 12, 2022
FMC PRAYER: Father, thank you that you came to give new life, peace, hope, and joy to your children. Thank you that your power is made perfect in our weakness. We know that you are with us, and you fight for your people. We believe that it’s not by might, nor by power, but by your Spirit that you make a difference in our world. We choose to trust you today and to recognize the authority of who you are in our lives.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3: 11-13 “This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.”
FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 7 – Laugh Out Loud: Laugh out loud! Have fun. As we work, have fun. As we serve, have fun. We want to be a team that laughs together. This is something that we must be intentional about. Fun must be not only allowed for but planned for. During meetings, we want laughter to be commonplace. We want to be the kind of team that laughs frequently during meetings, a team that isn’t always serious and sour, a team that dances at each other’s weddings. This is one of the most important values.
OUTREACH:That our Childcare Program would reflect Christ’s love to every family: Pray for Rick Bixler and the entire childcare staff at both the Beaver and the Midland sites – that they would be filled with the love of Christ as they care for so many little ones. Pray that health would be fortified, not just in them, but in the children. Pray that there would be opportunities to engage each family in meaningful ways, in order that they might come to know the love and grace of God personally. Pray for more children to love and serve!
PILLAR: Pillar 12: Manage Well(planner/administrator/organizer) FMC must operate on a strategic timespan of discretion that allows for strategic ministry to unfold
SCRIPTURE: “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:16-19)
