KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 16, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up those who are hurting right now. May they come to know You as El Roi, the God who sees them. For every situation of rejection, help them to remember their place in Your Kingdom – as Your beloved children. Bind up the brokenhearted! In every area of bondage, set the captives free; in every case of mourning, replace it with Your oil of gladness. Comfort them so that they will have a ministry of comfort to others.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 5:25

FMC VALUE: Value 10 – Play Motion Offense: In basketball, motion offense is a fluid approach where the players are always moving and always aware of where each other are. It only works if the team is in tune maintaining complete awareness. We want our team to be anticipating each other’s moves and needs even before they happen. We will fight against silos and work to complement what other team members are doing.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, help me worship you with an undistracted heart. Heavenly Father, this morning, and every morning – is all about you. Help me worship you with an undistracted heart. You know how my mind wanders to my upcoming week, present worries, and thoughts of others and other things. Help me throw those worries aside and focus on You and Your glory. May Your Spirit cause my heart, soul, mind, and strength to exalt Your Holy Name in my singing, listening to Your Word, and interacting with others today and every day hereafter.

STUDENTS: Lord, please give our students Your peace. We pray that You will lead them to take every single thing they are worried about to You in prayer, so that Your peace, which passes all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in You. May they rest in your goodness and the certainty of your eternal promises.

SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
