KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 17, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up the women of FMC. May Your Spirit encourage our older women to patiently train the younger in family issues and may our younger women continually encourage the older to respect and honor their husbands. Teach our women to be virtuous—women with gentle and quiet spirits who put their hope in You. May these women truly know Your passion for them and choose to spend time at Your feet.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 4:30-32

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 10 – Play Motion Offense. In basketball, motion offense is a fluid approach where the players are always moving and always aware of where each other are. It only works if the team is in tune maintaining complete awareness. We want our team to be anticipating each other’s moves and needs even before they happen. We will fight against silos and work to complement what other team members are doing.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, deepen our longing for Christ’s return. So often we pursue comfort and earthly joy in this sin-bent world when our hearts should long for the return of Christ. Humbly draw us into Your holy presence and show us the glories of a sin-and suffering-free eternity where we will worship you face-to-face Lord. We long for Your presence and perfect restoration!

PILLAR: Pillar 2: Promote Christian Fellowship (fellowship/interpersonal/engaging/relational/communion) FMC regularly celebrates communion, reminding us of our need of a Savior & proclaiming Christ’s resurrecting power.

PRACTICE: Discuss the difference between fellowship and just hanging out with your friends. How do you glorify Jesus through your words without complimenting or leading others into sins of self.
