KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 12, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Lord, this week, we lift up the children who attended Kids Blast and our student ministry at FMC. May they always remind us of the childlike faith that You desire each of us to possess. May their actions this week shine the light of Jesus as they encourage and encounter family and friends. Teach them to declare Your marvelous deeds. May they flee evil desires and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace all their days.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 4:26-27 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 5 – Wash Windows: The heart of this value is humility and ownership. No one at FMC is too good to wash windows – or even someone else’s feet for that matter. Each FMC leader must own every piece of FMC (right down to the windows). This kind of ownership leads to excellence. If you see something and think, “Someone should do something about that,” then that someone is you! Always try to see through the eyes of a guest and never think, “That’s not my problem.” We must constantly be striving to improve the things we see around us. All of us must be willing to engage in the menial tasks down to washing our windows.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, lead me in building others up with the gifts and opportunities you have given me. Forgive me for having a “me first” mentality at church. Help me put others first and seek to use the spiritual gifts you have graciously entrusted to me to build up others. Guide me in my interactions so others are blessed and You are glorified. Show me who to talk to, where to sit, and how to encourage others with Scripture. Help me be a channel of encouragement as we see the Day drawing near.

PILLAR: Pillar 9: Serve Others (helper/service/healing) Pray that we, as members of Four Mile Church, would always be found in a humble state for a spontaneous response to an unanticipated need – may our actions never glorify us but instead reflect the character of Christ within us.

PRACTICE: Contact one person each day (from the contact list on your phone) and ask them how they are doing.
