KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF APRIL 14, 2025

FMC PRAYER:  Lord, we lift up the spiritual temperature of our church. Revive us! Refine us so that we burn hot for You. Give us singleness of heart and mind so that we always fear You and honor Your ways far above our own. Open our minds to understand the wisdom that is found in Your Word so that our hearts burn within us to the point of conviction, repentance, and action.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 13, Washing Feet

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…barriers are broken down…Lord, You alone are able to break through our defenses and demolish the walls that we have built up. Remind us of the price that You paid on our behalf…the sacrifice that Jesus made to open the gates for our acceptance into Your eternal Kingdom…stop us in our tracks when we start to think that WE are good enough to do things on our own and without Your help. Break down our haughty attitudes and our self-righteous behavior so the we can clearly see how we are NOTHING without You. Our lives are such a small part of Your story – help us make the most of each opportunity we have this week so that You alone are glorified through our humility. Advance Your Kingdom through the rubble of our self-reliance.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

MISSIONS: Help us to be faithful stewards of the resources You have given us, whether it be time, talent, or treasure. May we invest in mission work not only through our actions but also in our prayers, encouraging and supporting those who answer the call to go.

~ 2 Corinthians 5:7: For we walk by faith, not by sight.

STUDENTS: Father, help our students to grow in faith and trust. Help them to understand what it means to walk by faith, not by the sight and ignore all of the crazy things that society wants them to believe are true. We know they will grow in faith by hearing Your Word, and so we pray for opportunities to share Your Word with them in every circumstance we come across. Unite us Lord – for Your glory alone!

CARE: Father, may Your Word Inspire us to act with empathy and to build meaningful connections with those we have the opportunity to serve this week. Help us to be a beacon of Your light in a world that often feels dark and uncertain. May our efforts be a testament to Your goodness and a reminder of the power of love and community.
