KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF APRIL 7, 2025

FMC PRAYER: Father, this week we lift up the hearts and minds of our congregation and our desire to pray. May our prayers always be pleasing to You. Continue to open our eyes to see Your Kingdom when we pray. Use us to stand in the gap for others and bring us to our knees when we feel like we can handle things on our own. Let there be revival in our hearts so that our prayer life becomes more about Your will being done and less about our will coming to fruition…

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 17:20-26, Jesus Prays for Us

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…freedom and forgiveness overwhelm…forgive us, Lord, for what we have done. We are selfish, prideful, haughty, dismissive, and arrogant human beings – and yet You chose to love us and send Your One and Only Son to die in our place – thereby adopting those who believe in His Holy Name as Your sons and daughters – making us heirs to Your Kingdom. May this knowledge bring us to our knees when we display our sinful behavior. Remind us of the freedom and forgiveness that has been given to us through Jesus Christ, Your Son.

MISSIONS: Remind us Lord, that mission work is not just about the places we go or the people we serve but about the transformation You bring to our hearts AS we serve. Stir within us a deep sense of purpose, a love for the lost, and a willingness to sacrifice for the sake of the gospel.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, may our love for one another greatly adorn the gospel. Jesus said that the love we have for our brothers and sisters will proclaim to the world that we are Your disciples. Please deepen our love for one another and make us eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit. Help us care for all, not showing favoritism.

May Your love compel us to strengthen those who are struggling, to bind up the hurts and fears of those who are injured, and to serve patiently – knowing that our service to others is service to You (Matthew 25:31–46). Help us model Your love for us in our honoring of one another, and so prove to the watching world that Christ has risen and reigns supreme.

STUDENTS: Please give our students wisdom beyond their years to discern Your will in their lives. Teach them to seek You in prayer, in the Word, and in every moment so that their faith may grow strong and unshakable. When doubts arise, remind them of Your promises. When challenges come, give them the strength to trust that You are their refuge and their help.

CARE: We pray for those who are facing difficulties, whether due to illness, financial hardship, or personal struggles. May they be encouraged and surrounded by Your peace as they find the courage, support, and resources that You provide for them and know that they are not alone.
