KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF MARCH 10, 2025
FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up the men of FMC to You. May Your Spirit build and strengthen them as they walk out their faith this week. Draw them closer to You through the encouragement of Your Spirit and teach them what it means to be a fatherly figure as You are to us. May they love their wives sacrificially, the women in their lives respectfully, and instruct their children/co-workers with patience. Encourage them to hold each other accountable as they carry each other’s burdens; and may they speak the truth in love, even when it’s hard.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: The Name
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…repentance and gratitude flow…Lord make us aware of our sinful and selfish behavior so that we might better understand the great mercy You have shown us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You that repentance and gratitude walk hand-in-hand. Thank You that the focus of Jesus’ mission was to call sinners to repentance: “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). His call of absolute surrender goes out to all people: “But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” Thank You that as long as we have breath in our lungs, repentance and gratitude can flow.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, reveal to me the wonders of Your Word. Father, as You spoke the world into existence, please continue to speak new life into Your children. Give us knowledge as we look to the glory of Your Son on display. Give us grace to receive Your Word and rejoice in it. And convict us of our sin so that we might hate it as much as You do! May the weak be strengthened, the strong be humbled, and the Church continually be built up!
STUDENTS: Father, we pray for the hearts of our students to be full of compassion and grace. Help them to reach out to those who may be struggling, to offer kindness to those who are lonely, and to speak truth with love to those who need it. May they remember that, as Your Word teaches us, “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8). May their example of love shine brightly to all they encounter.
CARE: Lord, please bless our OWLS in their every day ordinary lives – with companionship, health, happiness, and JOY in their golden years. We are all in different stages of life – and this week, may we marvel and appreciate the beauty of Your plan in uniting us all under the sacrifice and love of Your Son. May Your OWLS always feel valued and cherished for the wisdom they carry. As we think of them, we ask that You grant them the strength to continue their journey with dignity, grace, and patience. Thank You for our OWLS, Lord – may Your glory shine in their lives each day until they are called home – to Your glorious Name be all the praise.
