KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 24, 2025

FMC PRAYER: Father, we lift up the speakers and teachers in our church. May they admonish and teach with wisdom as Your Spirit reveals the mysteries of Your Word and encourages them to speak those mysteries courageously and fearlessly.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Sorrow Turns to Joy ~ John 16:16-24

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…humility abounds…when the world around me pushes for success and recognition, help me to remember that Your love isn’t earned – it’s a gift. Teach me to serve others quietly, with no expectation of praise or reward, just as You served us. May my actions be an honest reflection of Your love, kindness, and humility.

Open my eyes to see that honest humility leads to true peace. Help me to let go of my pride and the need to prove myself. I don’t want to be so focused on my own agenda that I forget to see others the way that You see them. Give me the grace to be patient with myself and others, and the strength to put others first, just as You taught us to do.

And when I mess up, as I know I will, remind me that I don’t have to be perfect to be loved by You. Help me to be gentle with myself, to listen more than I speak, and to always show grace to those around me, especially my family.

Thank You, God, for the daily opportunities to grow in humility. May I always live in a way that brings honor to You, not through what I do, but through how I love and serve.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, please remind us of the truth that we are never alone in this journey of faith. Even when we feel isolated, discouraged, or distant from others, help us to remember that we are part of a great and eternal family. Your Church is vast, and it is beautiful, made up of people from every corner of the world, united in love for You and each other.

Help us to see beyond our differences—whether in denomination, background, or culture—and to focus on the things that unite us: our shared faith in Jesus Christ as Lord, our commitment to follow Him, and our call to love one another as He has loved us. We pray for hearts that are quick to encourage, slow to judge, and eager to build up the body of Christ in unity.

STUDENTS: Lord, please empower our students to be strong witnesses of Your love and truth in their schools, homes, and communities. We pray, Father, that You would give them the courage to stand firm in their faith, no matter what challenges they may face. Help them to be bold in living out their beliefs, even when it’s hard, and to show others what it means to follow You with all their heart. Your Word says, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). May their lives reflect Your goodness, kindness, and truth, drawing others to You.

CARE: Lord, guide my heart to respond with acts of genuine kindness this week. Let me be a source of warmth and positivity to those I encounter. As I go about my day, direct me to find opportunities where I can make a difference in the lives of others for Your glory alone – be that through a smile, a helping hand, or a kind word. Open the eyes of the lost so that through these acts of kindness, Your unfathomable love and care might be deeply felt and lives be forever changed. Thank You for the opportunity to spread Your love through simple acts of caring. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
