KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 17, 2022

FMC PRAYER: Pray for the church to have a love for God’s Word and to walk in His wisdom, humility, and strength. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3:17b-19a “that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge…”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Mission: Taking our next steps toward Christ, together! Pray that everything we do would be done to accomplish this! Pray for the faith to follow the Spirit’s lead, keeping in step with Him each day, personally and corporately.

OUTREACH: Local missions: For the love of and commitment to the communities in which God has placed us. For God to show us where and how He is at work, so that we might use the gifts and resources He’s given us to be agents of His Kingdom in meaningful, fruitful ways. That God would give us opportunities (and the courage to take advantage of them!) in our neighborhoods, schools, ball fields and workplaces to share the hope and love of Christ in word and deed.

PILLAR: Pillar 5 – Lead Others (leader/shepherd/servant) Pray that FMC leaders would embrace a spirit of innovation, creativity and hard work. Pray that they see everything through to completion and experience the joy of Christ in their pursuit.

APPLICATION: Practice: Volunteer to serve as a lead for a buildings and grounds project at Four Mile; develop an operations plan to conduct outdoor worship services at Four Mile.
