KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 4, 2022
FMC PRAYER: Pray for unity in the church.
“I, therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:1-3)
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3: 10 “so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”
FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 6 – Build the bench: To reach the Tri-State Region & Beyond, we must be committed to reproducing ourselves exponentially. We must constantly strive to lead more and do less. None of us are the Lone Ranger. Instead, we’re looking to build a team of people to serve alongside us, so we can multiply our skills and expertise. Similarly, we must be able to scale our processes and systems so that we can accommodate the growing body of Christ who are called to serve: we must build redundancy into our capability so that there is no single point of failure on the team.
OUTREACH: Mentoring Up and Down: Pray that we would all recognize that we are to grow and learn and serve and become more like Jesus, together; that we would all seek to share what God has done in and for us with one another; that we would be willing to invest in one another’s growth in meaningful and fruitful and consistent ways; that no one would be too proud to admit that he/she doesn’t need others and that no one would believe the lie that he/she has nothing to offer.
PILLAR: Pillar 11: Build Each Other Up in Christ (exhort/affirm/encourage/peacemaker) Pray that FMC helps all believers find their confidence in Christ.
SCRIPTURE: Romans 14:19 “So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another.”
