KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 31, 2022

Let this be a guide as your pray throughout the week – do not simply read through this and agree, but intentionally reflect on how these things can/will reveal Christ’s Kingdom more and more, here on earth.

FMC PRAYER: That more members would use their careers to take the gospel to places it has never been.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 2:11-12: “Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands – remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 1 – Kneel before we run: This value is listed first intentionally. Everything we do must begin from a place of desperation for and dependence on God. We have a race to run, but we must kneel in submission and devotion to God before we begin. Often ministry can become a distraction from our personal walk with the Lord. Soon we’ve sacrificed intimacy for productivity. Instead, our number one priority is to begin everything with prayer and submission flowing from a genuine heart for God. KEY WORDS: DEPENDENCE, PRAYER, WORSHIP

OUTREACH: That we would be a church who worships in spirit and truth: “A time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23-24” Pray that we would recognize that our God is the God of every square inch – that we would recognize that every facet of our lives is meant to be an act of sacrificial worship and praise unto God.

PILLAR: Pillar 6. Reach the Lost (evangelist/bringer) Pray that FMC intentionally chooses greeters with this talent – to greet new people & walk alongside them, encourage them, and genuinely engage in conversation that promotes friendship and unity in Christ.

SCRIPTURE: Acts 20:24 “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
