KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 10, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Father, this week we lift up our student ministry team and the students who attend FMC. May our leaders constantly set an example in their speech, life, love, faith and purity. Help them to be alive and active in Your Word, and prayerful over-comers to any opposition that comes their way. Help our students develop spiritual discernment as they navigate their every day life and the relationships they will form this coming year. May Your Spirit move mightily Lord!

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 4:30

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 9 – Take it on the Chin: As FMC team members, we’re not going to make excuses. Instead, we will own whatever feedback, criticism, or issue has arisen. We will take responsibility, apologize if needed, and act to remedy any shortcomings rather than trying to escape from ownership even in the face of problems and challenges. Not only will each of us be open to feedback and constructive criticism; we will actively invite it. And when we give feedback, we will do it with grace.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, equip us for our mission on this earth. As we have learned over this past year, we are not saved by our good works, but for good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Focus our hearts on the mission You have for us – to share the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18–20). Remind us how our marriages, family lives, work, and hobbies can be avenues to adorn the gospel through our proclamation and Christ-exalting lifestyles. Use our time as Your gathered body to build us up and send us out for ministering Your gospel, in the power of Your Spirit, to this broken world.

PILLAR: Pillar 1: Teach Truth (teacher/preacher/educator) FMC seeks the Holy Spirit’s direction and power in curricular development, delivery, reception, and implementation.

PRACTICE: Pray for the hearts and minds of your brothers and sisters who are called to preach. Pray for strength and wisdom as they navigate God’s Word; and pray that they would be protected from the evil one as they walk in the path of Truth.
