KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 13, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Pray that God’s name be honored in your every day, ordinary life.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 4:11-12 “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 3 – Stretch it out: We want our team to be agile and athletic, quickly and effectively responding to the unexpected and spontaneous. In fact, we want to move beyond being OK with change and eventually be able to leverage change as a tool that helps us accomplish our mission. Along with this speed and flexibility, it’s important for us to embrace candid feedback and evaluation so we can be even more effective the next time around.

OUTREACH: Humility that leads to Righteousness:

“This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.” Isaiah 66:2

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6

Pray that as we seek God’s glory in prayer that we would grow in ever-increasing humility, recognizing the extent of our sin and depravity and the lengths God has gone to rescue us, in order to give us eternal life and living hope! Pray that God would place in us His desires – that we would long for Him, His Kingdom, and His righteousness, more than we long for anything else. Pray that we would walk by faith, in grace and obedience to God’s Word in all we do and say.

PILLAR: Pillar 8. Make Godly Decisions (wisdom/knowledge/discernment/counselor/advisor) Pray that FMC would profess that God is the source of our strength, the substance of our work, and the object of our endeavors in all that we do.

MEDITATE: Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
