KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF APRIL 21, 2025
FMC PRAYER: Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit’s conviction! May Your Spirit, and Your Spirit alone, set our hearts on fire so that we might repent and turn our eyes and feet back to that well lighted path. Humbly keep us in step with Your plan and reign in us so that we experience Your freedom. Thank You for leading us through this life until that amazing moment when we get to see You face-to-face.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 18-20, Resurrection A+B
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the hungry are fed…Lord, You alone are the Giver of life, the Sustainer of the universe, the Alpha and the Omega – You know every thought in our minds and the desperate cries of our hearts. Through Your Word, You have given us our daily bread as fuel to face each day and through communion with You, we are able to see the fruit of Your Spirit. Thank You for giving us food that sustains and strengthens us and thank You for filling us with a joyous hunger for Your Kingdom.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, guide me in using the gifts and opportunities You have given me to build others up. Forgive me for the times I have focused on myself rather than on serving others. Help me adopt a heart that puts others first, seeking always to use the spiritual gifts You’ve entrusted to me for their growth and encouragement. Lead me in my interactions so that those around me are blessed and You are glorified. Show me who to reach out to, when to speak, and how to encourage with Your Word. May I be a vessel of Your love and encouragement as we draw nearer to the Day of Your return.
MISSIONS: Lord, help us to see our neighbors – whether we know them well or have never met them – as a reflection of Your image. Teach us to love them as You have loved us, unconditionally and without reservation. Grant us the courage to show kindness in the simplest acts, and the wisdom to understand their struggles, joys, and needs.
STUDENTS: Father, we pray that this time will teach our students what it means to rejoice in sufferings. We pray that You would make them resilient and persistent, more like Christ with every passing hardship, developing their character and leading them to hope in You alone.
CARE: Father, we pray for those who may feel isolated or rejected because of their faith, please remind them that they are part of a larger community of believers—Your Church—that spans time and place. Give them strength and courage to stay the course and to always set an example in doing what is good. May they show integrity in their teachings, seriousness, and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.
