KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF MARCH 31, 2025

FMC PRAYER: Matthew 19:14 “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’” Father, we lift up our children’s ministry to You. Create an atmosphere here that encourages our children to know You. Fill the teachers with a childlike wonder as they expressively remind each child of the marvelous things You have done. May everything they learn about You become a core part of them forever. Open their eyes and ears to know Your voice as You lead and guide them each day. Gently nudge them in the direction of doing the next right thing, for Your Kingdom’s sake.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 17:6-19, Jesus Prays for His Disciples

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…love and joy fill hearts…Awesome and amazing God, You have given us power over sin and darkness and have equipped us to have everything we need through the power of Your Spirit! We are no longer slaves to this world because You have made us heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). If that isn’t enough reason to celebrate and be joyful, open our blind eyes! Jesus reminds us through His Word: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)

Love is the distinguishing mark of being a follower of Christ. The way people will recognize Christ is through our actions, attitudes, and relationships with others. “To be full of joy and happiness is to realize that God is the source of our joy and that only in Him can we find true happiness.” – Pope Francis

MISSIONS: Father, we come before You today with grateful hearts, acknowledging Your call for us to be Your hands and feet and to share the Good News of the gospel with our neighbors, both near and far. Open our eyes to see the opportunities around us to spread Your love by being a source of hope and encouragement to those who are hurting. Gently remind us of the loneliness we all feel at times.

Father, we also pray for those who venture beyond the borders of our communities, bringing Your Word to places where hope seems distant. Protect them, strengthen them, and fill them with Your courage and compassion. May their work bear fruit, and may the love they carry shine brightly in places of darkness.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, lead me in building others up with the gifts and opportunities You have given me. Help me to put others first and to seek to use the spiritual gifts You have graciously entrusted to me to build up others. Guide me in my interactions this week so that others are blessed and Your Name is glorified, Lord. Show me who to talk to, where to sit, and how to encourage others with Scripture. Help me be a channel of encouragement as we see the Day drawing near.

STUDENTS: May our students know with certainty that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that You have a plan and purpose for each of them, and that they are never alone, for You are always with them. Grant them the courage to stand firm in their faith, even when the world around them may try to pull them in different directions. Help them to recognize that they are not defined by the opinions of others but by the truth of whom You say they are – Your beloved children, called and chosen to reflect Your love and grace.

CARE: Lord, we ask for Your guidance as we seek to care for and support those who are struggling. Open our eyes to the needs around us and give us the wisdom to respond with generosity and kindness. Help us to be sensitive to the needs of others, whether they are physical, emotional, or spiritual.

Grant us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and offer assistance where it is needed most. Empower us to be a source of hope and comfort to those who are hurting, lonely, or in distress. Let our actions reflect Your love and grace, and may our words bring encouragement and healing.
