KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF DECEMBER 30
, 2024

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we pray for the expansion of Your church in the tristate region and beyond this coming year. May hearts be drawn to Your Kingdom through the truth of the gospel, the love of Jesus Christ, and the evangelism of the saints. Reveal to us the impact that our every day ordinary lives has on those around us. Guide us as we play our part in helping to lead Your people out of darkness and into Your Son’s beautiful light. We want to represent You genuinely and faithfully in the communities You have placed us. Please grant us the patience and boldness we need for this week.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Advent Exhortation – Matthew, Luke, Acts, Romans, Revelation

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…humility abounds…I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging that all I have and all I am are gifts from You. In Your presence, I am reminded of the vastness of Your grace and the smallness of my own understanding.

Help me to walk in humility, to know that I am not above others but part of Your beautiful creation. Teach me to see the worth and dignity in every person, to listen with patience, and to speak with kindness. When pride rises within me, gently remind me of Your call to serve rather than to be served, to love without seeking recognition, and to give without expecting anything in return.

Grant me the wisdom to know my place in this world, not as one who dominates, but as one who loves and uplifts. May my actions reflect Your love, and may my heart remain open to learning, growing, and serving others with sincerity and grace.

Guide me, Lord, in this coming year, so that I may walk humbly with You, trusting in Your perfect will ,and giving thanks for the abundant blessings You bestow.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, may our love greatly adorn the gospel. Father, Your Son said that the love we have for our brothers and sisters will proclaim to the world that we are Your disciples (John 13:34–35). Please deepen our love for one another and make us eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:1-3). Help us care for all, not showing favoritism.
May love compel us to strengthen the weak, bind up the injured, and serve patiently as we remember our service to others is service to You (Matthew 25:31–46). Help us model Your unfathomable love for us in our honoring of one another, and so prove to the watching world that Christ has risen and reigns.

STUDENTS: Father, help our students to grow in faith and trust. Help them to understand what it means to walk by faith, not by the sight – especially with all the crazy things that are going on around them. We know they will grow in faith by hearing your Word, and so we pray for opportunities to share Your Word with them.

SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight” + Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

CARE: “Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you’re not saved yourself, be sure of that!” -Spurgeon

Let us fervently pray for those who have yet to encounter Christ or who persistently oppose His ways. In a world constantly enticing us towards sin, we must recognize the urgency for those living outside of Christ’s grace.

May our prayers for them be fervent, seeking the opening of their eyes to the Truth, and may God grant us the strength and courage to act upon His will, speaking and doing what He asks of us in reaching out to those in need of salvation.
