KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 4, 2024
FMC PRAYER: Thank you Lord, for the spiritual gifts You have placed within FMC.
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” (1Corinthians 12:4-7)
Teach us to use what we’ve received to serve others and faithfully administer Your loving grace through our thoughts and actions. Help us exercise our gifts in love and remind us to keep fanning into flame the gifts You’ve entrusted to us.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Parables ~ Matthew 13:1-23 – Parable of Soil
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the holiness of God is revered…God, You are absolute perfection. A concept that our minds will never fully understand until we stand in Your presence. Your very being is completely absent of sin (James 1:13). You are high above any other, and no one can compare to You (Psalm 40:5). Your holiness shapes all Your attributes. Your love is a holy love, Your mercy is a holy mercy, and even Your anger and wrath are holy. These are difficult concepts for us to understand, but we trust in Your faithfulness and ask for Your continual guidance as we strive to know You more each and every day.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, guide our leadership in faithfully shepherding Your flock. Thank You for the gift of pastors, teachers, and elders and bless the spouses and families of those leaders as they partner in the call of ministry. Strengthen their faith and joy in the gospel as they faithfully shepherd the church and equip the saints for ministry. Give them great wisdom and direction in every aspect of life so that they may patiently exemplify to the church and the world who You are. Help us honor them as Your appointed shepherds who sacrifice much for the Kingdom’s sake. (Hebrews 13:17).
STUDENTS: Lord, please give our students Your peace. We pray that You will lead them to take every single thing they are worried about to You in prayer, so that Your peace, which passes all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in You. May they rest in your goodness and the certainty of your eternal promises.
SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
CARE: We pray for those who are facing difficulties, whether due to illness, financial hardship, or personal struggles. Surround them with Your peace and provide them with the support and resources they need. May they feel Your presence and know that they are not alone.
