Church Service

All Ages: 10:30 - 11:30 / Worship Center

Worship Style: The music played is contemporary / alternative.  People are encouraged to express their worship in the way that they connect best to God, so you may see some hands raised while others may be seated or in prayer.  The order of worship follows a reformed pattern (Preparing for the Word, Hearing the Word, Responding to the Word), but you won’t find an order of worship in the bulletin.  Videos and drama are occasionally used as sermon illustrations.

What else? Each Sunday we ask everyone to fill out a connection card.  This helps keep our data base current and provides a way for people to sign up for various activities and classes.  Before Worship you’ll notice announcements being run on the screens at the front of the Worship Center.  These are often for things happening that week.  You’ll also see them run on monitors near our Welcome Center in the foyer, and downstairs in the Dining Room.

Dress: The dress is primarily casual and flexible. It’s not uncommon to see some people wearing jeans and Steeler jerseys during football season or shorts in the summer months while others prefer to wear their “Sunday Best.”  We want you to feel comfortable while worshipping the Lord so the choice is yours.

In Between Services: At 10:10am we have a fellowship time with coffee and donuts in the dining hall below the Worship Center. This is a great time to meet new people or catch up with old friends.

Children and Youth

Kidz Care and Nursery

Newborn - 3 Years Old: 9:15am & 10:30am / Childcare Center on the Main Level

Each Sunday, the Kidz Care team shares God’s love with the infants and toddlers of Four Mile. Children are checked in and out of the nursery using a safety tag paging system that insures the babies’ security and grants peace of mind to parents. Toddlers hear a Bible story, sing songs, make crafts, and play with their friends.

Kidz Church

4 years old – 4th grade: 9:15am & 10:30am / Kidz Town- Lower Level

Kidz Church is for ages 4 through 4th grade and is held at KidzTown below the worship center. Both hours are spent reviewing the Biblical virtue presented at 4Kidz. We open with a kid-friendly worship service (CELEBRATE) and great music...all kid-style. After worship, the children break off into age-appropriate classrooms where they explore the Biblical story in a small group setting (CONNECT). This is led by a team of teachers and presenters who love God, love kids and have been blessed with a spiritual gift for connecting with children!

5th & 6th grade:  9:15 – 10:10 am / ROCK Room – Directly behind Worship Center

Each Sunday morning, the 5th and 6th grade ROCK group meets to connect with God and one another. We dig deep into God's Word, discovering what it means and how it relates to the life as a fifth or sixth grader. Small groups allow us to talk through the message for the week, figure out how to live it, and get to know one another on a deeper level.  The ROCK kids are encouraged to attend the 10:30am church service afterwards.

7-10th grade: 9:15am - 10:10am / Crossfade Youth Loft – Above the ROCK Room

Plugged is an intimate small group setting for in-depth biblical discussions.  Using a variety of topics that are of particular interest to youth, Plugged gives students an opportunity to be part of a more interactive study on God’s word and further relate the Word to their everyday lives. The youth are encouraged to attend the 10:30am church service afterwards.

11th & 12th grade:  9:15am - 10:10am / Dining Hall - Lower Level

Fuse is designed especially for students in 11-12th grade to help prepare them to go out into the world. Each Sunday morning, students meet for bible study and fellowship. The youth are encouraged to attend the 10:30am church service afterwards.
